PTFA is the William Perkin Parent, Teacher & Friends Association.
All parents, carers, teachers, friends and students of William Perkin C of E High School are automatically members of the PTFA.
We aim to foster a spirit of community at William Perkin and raise money for the student’s journey through the school.
We are a registered Charity, number 1179054, and 100% of the money we raise is used to issue charitable grants to the school to pay for a variety of educational equipment, services and programmes.
Previous projects made possible with the help of PTFA funding include:
- New library shelving
- Wider reading books
- PE equipment - kinball and volleyball nets
- Science equipment
- Duke of Edinburgh Award camping equipment
- Annual contributions to support the School Production
Please help us by coming along to our events. They are great fun! Also consider offering some of your time to support what we do. It can be as little as an hour a year, or more if you can. From charity trustee through to event day volunteer there is role to suit everyone.
We are currently fundraising for various exciting initiatives including new outdoor seating, updated recycling facilities and resources for many of the additional school clubs and activities on offer at William Perkin.
For more information or to volunteer please contact the PTFA via email ([email protected]).
