William Perkin CofE High School will be holding Sixth Form Induction Day on 25th June 2025.
This day aims to help you make a successful transition from GCSE to Sixth Form. All potential Sixth Form students are invited to the induction, both those at William Perkin and those joining from other schools.
Please arrive promptly at 8:30 am and report to the Café. The Sixth Form and Student Leadership teams will be here to greet you and will lead the activities on the day. Students should wear their own clothes (not school uniform). Please bring a packed lunch for this day.
After the initial welcome and presentation, there will be taster lessons in your first three chosen subjects. These will not only give you further details about the course over the next two years but will help to prepare you for the induction tasks. You will also have a session looking at Student Leadership, Community Service and Enhanced Learning in William Perkin Sixth Form. Please bring pens, pencils, and a calculator if you are a maths/science student.
Immediately after attending induction day, offer holders will be able to apply for the Oxbridge Programme, MedSoc, EngSoc, Humanities Stretch, and Leadership positions.
