William Perkin Sport
William Perkin has a vision for sport that combines offering our students the opportunity to experience quality sport provision in core elective lessons as well as their extended elective programme.
During curriculum lessons, William Perkin students focus on our main sports:
- Football, Rugby, Cricket and Athletics for boys
- Netball, Football, Dance, Cricket/Rounders and Athletics for girls
These are supported by after school clubs which develop competitive sport further whilst being open to all.Back to the top

Anyone for a spot of Tennis?
On Wednesday 3rd May, 4 of our ARC pupils attended the Paragames mini-tennis tournament as part of the school games. With 11 schools taking part competition was strong and whilst pupils didn’t finish in a medalling position, they all showed a great level of enthusiasm and played some beautiful tennis throughout the day. They also qualified as the best Ealing Borough Team to represent the borough at the London Youth Games MLD ParaGames Inclusive Tennis finals at the end of June which is a great achievement.
Lords Cricket Trip
On Thursday 27th April, Miss Lowen and Mr Barclay took 12 Year 7/8 cricket team boys to the home of cricket for the opening game of the one day season for Middlesex CCC. It was a great opportunity to see professional sport and inspire our own cricket team at the start of the season. Lots of fun was had not only watching the cricket which unfortunately was interrupted by the rain after lunch, but also playing table cricket amongst other cricket based activities during the break. Lots learnt to put in to practice in the season ahead with school matches starting in the upcoming weeks.
