William Perkin's First A-level Results
William Perkin students celebrated the school’s first ever A-level Results, 2 years on from the school coming 8th in the country for its first GCSE Results. A-level outcomes were no less impressive with 49% of the grades awarded at A*-A, only 10% of students gaining a C or below and a 100% pass rate.
9 students achieved places for Medicine or Dentistry and there were two Cambridge successes confirmed with two more pending confirmation.
Photo 1. Kisso Selvan - achieved 5 A* Grades. He will study Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge.
Photo 2. Chloe Mowatt - achieved 2 A* & 1 A Grades. She will study Medical Biosciences at Imperial College.
Photo 3: Yew Em Au - achieved 3 A* Grades. He's applied for adjustment to study Medicine at the University of Cambridge which will be confirmed shortly. His insurance offer is Medicine at Cardiff University.
Photo 4: Rebekah Christie - achieved 3 A* & 1 A Grades. She will study Physics with Theoretical Physics at Imperial College.
Photo 5: Sunima Basnet - achieved 4 A* Grades. She will study Medicine at the University of Cambridge.
Executive Headteacher Dame Alice Hudson commented "William Perkin has been a spectacular success story for the Twyford Trust – particularly in the area of Science and Maths. I am so proud of the staff and students who have achieved such outstanding outcomes in the short time that the school has been open".
