To start an A Level programme of 3 A Levels you need to pass at least 8 or more GCSE passes at Grade 5, equivalent or better including Maths and English.

To start an A Level programme of 4 A Levels you need to pass at least 8 or more GCSE passes including Maths and English with an average GCSE grade score of 7.5 or better (equivalent to roughly half of your grades at half 7/A and half 8/A*).

You should choose one subject from each block in order of priority. Each subject has its’ own entry requirements which will appear below the courses you select. In some subjects, students are set by ability and/or require a higher level of entry to ensure the right preparation for high level university courses.

William Perkin Scholar Programme

The William Perkin Scholar Programme is aimed at gifted and passionate pupils who have a clear idea of their future pathways. The programme will involve academic mentoring, extended project qualifications, early entry university support and, potentially, target Oxbridge support. Please select the programme you would like to be considered for.

If your future pathway does not correlate with one of the four Scholar programmes, but you would like to be considered for extra Scholar support (mentoring, early university application, Oxbridge mentoring) then please select ‘Scholar Support Programme’).

If you do not wish to be considered for the William Perkin Scholar Programme, please select ‘General Programme of Study.’
