Welcome to William Perkin Church of England High School which prides itself on being a disciplined school where people matter.
Launching the new William Perkin CofE High School to have the same outstanding standards as Twyford CofE High School has been the greatest priviledge. We have watched the beautiful and very distinctive building take shape and we have designed both schools to share the same spiritual foundation. Now the very first William Perkin CofE High School students are already living up to our standards with staff committed to giving them all the support they need to live their own lives to the full.
We believe that every individual has the capacity to make a good contribution to the world if they engage intelligently and recognise their God-given gifts. Our mission will be to create an intellectually vigorous community in which all of our students give their best at all times and work purposefully and joyfully towards their goal. We call this the 10:10 ethic and aim to live by it day by day.
Our family values are Christian ones. We believe in a world which is lovingly and purposefully made and we believe that all people have God-given gifts to use wisely and well. At the school, we aim to create a positive ethic of appreciation for all that the world offers, and gratitude for our human capacity to do and be good. We work to ensure that this ethic embraces all of our students, whatever their faith or background. We are excited about welcoming our new students who will help us grow this ethos as they live and work together.
I hope that this website and the prospectus will give you more of a taste of the William Perkin High School experience.

Twyford CofE Academies Trust
The Twyford CofE Academies Trust was formed in October 2011 to allow the existing Twyford CofE High School to build upon its strengths and develop beyond a single school.
Affiliated to the London Diocesan Board for Schools, Twyford has set up a multi-academy Trust. Schools within the Trust share the same ethos which we call the 10:10 Ethic - based on the Gospel of John chapter 10 verse 10 - 'I have come that you might have life and have it to the full'. But each school also has a distinctive character of its own and we will work to ensure that this ethic embraces all of our students, whatever their faith or background.
William Perkin CofE High School received permission to open as a Free School in September 2013, with its first intake of Year 7 students. William Perkin already has its own unique identity and, on a day-to-day level, is run by Associate Headteacher: Keir Smith. However, both schools are under the ultimate authority of a Board of Directors whose job it is to ensure that the vision and values of the Trust are lived up to at each school.

Twyford CofE High School
Twyford CofE High School is part of Twyford Church of England Academies Trust.
Twyford is an 11-18 comprehensive School with a roll of just under 1400, including over 500 in the Sixth Form.
Twyford became a church school in 1981, when the London Borough of Ealing sold the premises to the London Diocesan Board. The present school came into being largely as a result of a determined campaign by local parents, a number of whom still support the School.
In its 2012 Ofsted Inspection Twyford was praised as being an outstanding school, at which the pastoral support and monitoring, the relationships between staff and students and the leadership of the school are all excellent.
